KNC HIKING Group!
We are excited to continued our bi-weekly Friday morning hiking schedule. Please consider joining us for our Friday January 28, 2022 hike.
We will be "taking a hike" every other Friday morning (COVID and weather-permitting). While this invitation is going out the the entire KNC membership (as a new activity available to all who are interested), future invitations will only be received by those who have marked off "hiking" in their membership profile. Please edit your profile to indicate your interest in receiving future hiking announcements.

Our approx. 3 or more hour hikes will generally depart at 9:00 a.m. from a variety of locations - from Lake Country in the north to Peachland in the south, and sometimes farther afield. Please review each hike's details, as the level of effort will vary from hike to hike, and may increase in effort as the weeks proceed.
Registration reminder: We've turned 'on' the registration button to help us collect contact information, to comply with COVID19 follow-ups, if necessary. Registration is solely for the purpose of creating an attendance list with contact detail. If you register but find yourself unable to attend, please cancel your registration through your KNC calendar.

Natasha Loop - Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park
Natasha Loop is a 7.6 kilometre lightly trafficked loop trail that features a 273 metre gain, a river and is good for all skill levels. The hike should take approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes depending on the conditions. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
Your hike leaders will be at the trailhead at 8:45 a.m. to meet our hikers, and begin the hike promptly at 9:00 a.m. If weather conditions are such that the decision is made to cancel the hike, it will be done so the morning of the hike, so please keep an eye on your email. We will also, prior to leaving the parking lot, have a short discussion of hike expectations and we welcome all comments and suggestions.
Directions: (from Orchard Park Mall to Myra Bellevue Provincial Park Day Use area, Stewart Rd E.)
- Head west toward Cooper Rd - 1 min (210 m)
- Take Benvoulin Rd, Casorso Rd and Bedford Rd to Stewart Rd E -10 min (8.0 km)
- Slight right onto Stewart Rd E
- Destination will be on the right - 2 min (1.2 km)
